Japan combines the devotion to tradition and the state of the art in technology. You can see from small to huge Buddhist temples all over the country, golden pagoda, different status of Buddha. Japan is full of metropolitan areas, one of them is the modern capital Tokyo, with the buzzling crossroads, miles of skyline, stylish skyscrapers, blinding lights, a great metro network.

Kyoto is the old capital has numerous traditional and historical sightseen places and if you are brave enough you can do the Nakashendo Trail (a walking path from Kyoto to Tokyo). A trip by bullet train should be on your checklist to see the historic Hiroshima.
